Exterior

Inspired by the BexleyHeath Red House  in London, many of the Chapter House's exterior features project similarities. The house   was also designed  with influences of Arts and Crafts and French Eclectic  styles.  The house was built using brick construction with a clay tiled hip roof and metal casement windows.

The house is an L-shaped two and a half story  building   with a  large courtyard patio. An entrance tower is located at the intersection of the  two wings and there are two semi-hexagonal chimneys located at both ends.  The front facade features three sets of French doors  that open onto the courtyard, casement windows, oval windows, and arched window dormers.

Interior

Upon entering the Chapter House, there is an entry  hall and foyer featuring barrel vaulted ceilings and arched doorways to each  room on the first floor. The largest space on the first floor is the lounge.  The lounge features a fireplace with intricate  detail on the mantel. There are two alcoves located on  each side of the fireplace. The other main space on the first floor is the library. The library features a fireplace  similar to that in the lounge. There are casement windows on each side of the room and custom oval windows on each  side of the fireplace. A display case/bookcase and piano are also located in the room.

The second and third floors contain all of the resident's rooms. There are  11 rooms on the second floor and  6 rooms on the third floor.  The rooms are of varying sizes and can house between 1-3 people depending on the size.  On the third floor, there is also a study/game room.

The lower level contains a large dining room, full chef's kitchen and a laundry room.
